Activision’s Quantum of Solace Leaked One Week Early for Xbox 360

This morning, 007: Quantum of Solace showed up on some of the private Xbox 360 trackers, although the title’s scheduled released date is not until November 7.  Many of us Bond fans are happy to get a premature glance at the new bond title.

Quantum of Solace is  based on the films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.  According to Activision, the game was developed by four different companies and implements the Call of Duty 4 engine.

Find this torrent on the private trackers or wait for it to show up soon on the public trackers!

NG4.com: “Leaked Far Cry 2 Opening Cutscene”, 360 Log: “Leaked Far Cry 2 Game”

Today, NG4.com, our favorite video game industry news website reported about leaked Far Cry 2 video footage:  “Thanks to the glory of the internets, Far Cry 2 footage is hitting us early! If you can’t wait a few more hours, maybe this gameplay footage can wet your whistle. Turn up your headphones amd check out the video…”

360Log is very proud to report that we can all screw “opening sequence cutscenes” and instead “wet our whistles” by playing Far Cry 2 in is beautiful entirety.

Far Cry 2 was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.  Oddly enough, Far Cry 2 is not a sequel to Far Cry, but it s a completely new game and storyline set in war torn Africa.

This game looks amazing…

Gears of War 2 Leaked on Private Trackers, Shy of 3 Weeks Early, Thanks Microsoft

Early this morning, Gears of War 2 showed up on some of the private Xbox 360 trackers.  Since the release date is not until November 7, many of us are very happy.  Most of you are familiar with GOW1 and know that it is a tactical third-person shooter that was developed by Epic Games ad published by Microsoft Game Studios.  Since Microsoft is the publisher, many of us are pleasantly surprised that the software giant let this one slip through their grip prematurely.  The title is an exclusive release for the Xbox 360, and is further reason why the 360 is the best console out there on the market.

Chainsaw duels are awesome…

GOW2 implements a beefy upgraded version of the Unreal Engine and features quick, explosive gameplay coupled with intense, technical graphics.  In Gears of War 2, the Locust have found a way to make giant emergence holes capable of destroying entire cities at once.  Marcus Fenix and the rest of the COG Delta Squad are now drilling underground to “take the fight to the Locust.”

Cheers to Microsoft…

Exclusive Trailer for Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams

A Take-Two representative has confirmed that Ken Levine will be involved in the BioShock 2 project in some capacity, saying “[Levine] is critical to BioShock.” Reassuring news, though it’s still unclear how closely Levine will be working with the 2K Marin studio during development, especially since he almost certainly has his own new projects to work on with his team at 2K Boston.

This new trailer for the sequel to the great game was posted recently on you tube.  The trailer shows a grown up little sister holding a big daddy plush toy, while buildings in the form of Rapture rise from the sand. It’s set on the Atlantic Coast.

Fallout 3 Review: killing mutants in a nuclear wasteland is awesome

Fallout 3 is the latest addition to the Fallout series and was developed by Bethesda Game Studios, the same guys who made the Elder Scrolls series. The setting of Fallout 3 will take place in the year 2277, 36 years after the setting of Fallout 2and 200 years after the nuclear war that devastated the game’s world.

The game starts out relatively slow as you experience your birth, childhood, and adolescence in Vault 101, which was built to protect its occupants from a nuclear holocaust.  You eventually leave the vault and venture into the wasteland outside.

I was quickly overwhelmed by the vastness and detail of the map- it’s absolutely unbelievable how realistic the environment for the game is.  The gameplay and “feel” of the game very closely parallels Oblivion 4, although the setting and plot are very different.

Life in the vault is just so happy….

The game has a very “gritty” feel to it and the developers do a great job of making you feel apart of the game.  To view your stats, items, maps, and missions, you use the PIP Boy 3000, which is a retro-looking computer that greatly adds to the immersive element of the game.  Visually, Bethesda is doing some really great things with Fallout 3.  I’m sure that this title will become quickly popular after it’s released, despite all the other great title coming out for the holiday season on the 360.

The environments are simply beautiful in a sort of desolate way.

A shot of the PIP Boy 3000

Although I’m still playing my way through the game, Fallout 3 is impressive all around- it’s by far one of the best games I’ve played for the 360.  Score a copy of Fallout 3- it’s definitely a great game!
